Review Under £5: Touch Of Silver Shampoo & Conditioner

I've only been using Touch of Silver Twice a Week Brightening Shampoo and Daily Nourishing Conditioner for 2 weeks as I recently had my hair highlighted.

I was quite surprised when I first used these as they smell amazing. I expected them to smell chemically but they smell great. The shampoo gets rid of warm tones in the hair and the conditioner left my hair feeling soft and nourished.

The shampoo costs £3.09 for 150ml and the conditioner costs £2.09 for 200ml

OPI Coca-Cola Nail Laquer Collection Review

Some of you my remember my post in my Duty Free Haul. It has took me ages to try out all the colours as I got 4-6 days wear from each shade without use of a topcoat. I have loved trying out all these shades as some of them aren't colours that I would have picked for myself. This collection has shades suitable for all seasons and all occasions.

You're So Vainilla - A lovely pale nude. I think this sahde would look great on olive/dark skin tones

Turn On The Haute Light - A metallic silver. This reminded me of Nails Inc Foil polishes which I also love. I can't wait to wear this shade during the festive season.

Sorry I'm Fizzy Today - A beautiful pinky coral shade. I have quite a few shades like this as I love wearing colours like this in the summer.

Coca-Cola Red - A true red shade. Looks amazing all year round and will suit any skin tone.

Get Cherried Away - A great medium purple. At first, I wasn;t sure if I would like this shade, but as soon as I put it on I fell in love with it and it is a good autumnal colour.

Today I Accomplished Zero - Black with red glitter. This was the shade that made me want this set. I have never seen anything like it and couldn't wait to try it.

I am very happy with this set and thought it was amazing value at £16 for 6 x 3.75ml bottles. This is a travel exclusive so if you are in an airport anytime soon you should pick it up! I will be keeping my eye on O.P.I for more sets like this.

Soap & Glory Butter Yourself Moisture Lotion Review

I love Soap & Glory. I love the names of the products, the scents, and how the products work. Recently I have been using Butter Yourself Moisture Lotion, which is £10.00 for 500ml at Boots.

The first thing I noticed about this lotion is the smell. It is so fruity! It doesn't have a cheap fruity type of scent, but a mouth watering, lucious scent. This product also has an amazing texture, it is just the right consistency, it isn't too thin that your skin doesn't feel a moisture boost, but it isn't too thick that it doesn't sink it quickly. I used to love the Sugar Crush Body Cream with the sweet line fragrance and thought nothing could top it, but this is coming close.

I would buy this again as I feel like it would give my skin a well needed boost of moisture in the cold months.

If you would like to see any more Soap and Glory reviews, please let me know.

Avon Lipsticks Haul

I felt like I needed more lipsticks (I know I really don't) so I ordered 8 from Avon (oops!).

First up, are the Lipstix. They are really pigmented and the formula stays inside the lip line, as I find some products similar to this bleed a lot, but this product lasted well and looked great. They have a semi matte/matte finish. I would buy more of these.

Foxy Fushia and All Fired Up

Next up are the Kiss 'n' Go Lipsticks. These are sheer but can be built up without feeling like you have too much product on your lips. There are 9 colours in the collection and I love the variety. These  lipsticks lasted well and I will at some point be getting the other colours in the collection.
L-R: Deluxe, Lucky Kiss, Amethyst, Poppy Love, Passion, Flirt.

Review Under £5: Montagne Jeunesse Anti Blemish Face Mask

Sorry about being a day late on posting! I haven't been feeling very well :( and because I wasn't feeling very well I decided to put a face mask on to perk my skin up. I am bad when it comes to face masks as I know I don't use them often enough.

When I do get round to using face masks, I use the Montagne Jeunesse sachets a lot because I like trying out all the different ones. I had never used this one before so decided to try it as I have blemish prone skin. I was pleasantly surprised as not a lot of products for blemish prone skin do anything for me, but as soon as I washed this off it had dried my blemishes without drying the rest of my face, and reduced redness. I was very happy with the results and will be reaching for this face mask again
.
This mask and many more are available at www.montagnejeunesse.com and sachets are available at £!

Hi, I reached 500 views (thank you!!!) so I will now only be posting every other day. Now, onto my look of the day.

I wore this look on Sunday when I went for a meal with my boyfriend, I went for natural hair and natural make up with glowing skin. I also applied a light eyeshadow into the corner of my eyes to brighten up the look. I contoured using Bourjois Bronzer and e.l.f Bronzing Brush. Review Under £5: Tigi Masterpiece Hairspray

Yes you did read that right, a full size Tigi product for under £5! When I was training to be a hairdresser, I fell in love with this hairspray. It has the most amazing hold without leaving the hair sticky or crunchy and it smells like a tropical cocktail! When I saw this in B&M for £4.99 I had to buy a bottle, I couldn't believe the price as this retails for £14 in salons.

If you live outside of the UK, you can get yourself a bottle from www.allbeauty.com for £9.95, $16.14 USD, 12.74 Euros or AU$18.33

GHD Wonderland Styler Review

Hello, I hope everyone is having a lovely weekend. Todays post is about my GHD Wonderland styler, which I recieved last christmas. This is my second pair of GHD's, and it wasn't until the first pair broke, I realised how much I relied on them.

My hair is naturally curly and quite frizzy, so when I use other straightners, my hair is ruined pretty much as soon as I leave the house. With GHD's, my hair is still straight and smooth by the end of the day. Also, I can create loose, messy curls with this, which I have done on myself and people with shorter hai, so it is very versatile. I love the colour on them as they range from purple to blue depending on the lighting. I would love to have several more GHD's as they are forever bringing out new ranges, but sadly I can't afford to do that.

When these were purchased, they cost £135. If you would like to see any looks using these, then please let me know.

Clinique Neutral Territory 2 Palette

Happy start to the weekend! Today I am doing a review on the Clinique Neutral Territory 2 Palette. I have had this palette for about 6 months and as soon as I saw it I knew I had to have it, and it did not disappoint! This palette includes a highlighting shade, a couple of base colours, transition colours and crease colours. You can creat a variety of looks, natural, bold, day, night. I was also surprised at how little the shadows creased! I could do a 12 hour shift and afterwards my eyeshadow still looked amazing, which is something you can't say about a lot of eyeshadows, and I would buy Clinique eyeshadows again.

What palettes would you recommend to me and which would you like to see reviews on?

L'occitane Immortelle Toner

My post is a bit later than usualy because I did a late shift at work (boo!), but the majority of people that view this blog live in America, so it might actually work out better, I shall have to see. Today I am doing a review on L'occitane's Immortelle Toner. I recieved this as a birthday present as my family know I am a huge L'occiaten fan, but I only got around to using it recently. The only thing I can ask myself is why didn't I use this sooner? It is sooooooo good! It smells like fresh flowers, and after I had used it on cleansed skin, I felt like I could actually feel air going into my skin. I cannot find this on the website so I don't know how much it costs, but being L'occitane I imagine it is expensive. I doubt I could use any other toner after using this, and it may be a considered purchase, but if you are serious about skin care you need this in your routine.

If I had to choose one brand to use for skin care and body care for the rest of my life, I would choose L'occitane. There products go beyond expectations and feel luxurious, especially their Almond range.  I see their products as a treat and I would recommend you try a few products if you haven't already, as they have some amazing sets with mini products in.

What are you favourite L'occitane products? What would you like to try?

My Perfume Collection

Hello! It's my day off today and the weather is rubbish so I'm blogging, baking cakes and chilling with the dog, and have Zumba class later. Today I am blogging about my perfume collection.

L:R Sun by Lush,  Little Black Dress by Avon, Clarins Eau Dynamisante, Paco Rabanne Black XS, Cacharel Eden, L'occitane Imortelle, Marc Jacobs Daisy Eau So Fresh Delight 75ml and 125ml,
Marc Jabobs Daisy, Marc Jacobs Dot

These are all my Marc Jacobs perfumes, which I have recieved as gifts. Daisy is a fresh scent, slightly floral, and Daisy Eau So Fresh Delight is an even more floral version. I would class these as day time scents. Dot is fresh with a hint of pepper, which sounds unusual but it smells amazing, I would say this is more of a night time scent or special occasion.
I have only recently purchased Paco Rabanne Black XS and have worn it on a couple of nights out. It is a really sweet fruity scent and the male version smells amazing too, which could be a great gift idea for your partner as it is coming up to Christmas time. I have had L'occitane Imortelle for quite a while. I have a smaller sized travel bottle which I tend to use more often. This is one of them scents that really change on your skin. It smells like amber and honey and I have never smelt anything like it.
Sun by Lush was also a gift. It smells very citrussy. I have seen some reviews on this that say they don't think the smell lingers, but on me it does. I love Lush fragrances and would recommend Karma, Ginger, Breath of God, Imogen Rose and Furze. Next is Little Black Dress by Avon. I have worn this scent for many years and always go back to it. It's an amazing day and night scent so it's great for  travel as you only have to take one bottle. Next is Clarins, I haven't had this scent for very long but I do like it. It's a very strong night time scent, and the scent lasts well on the skin. Last but not least is Eden. My godmother wears this and it reminds me of her everytime I wear it. Every time I smell this scent on someone I instantly recognise it. It is a heady, strong night time scent which I can always smell on myself the next day.

I hope you enjoyed this post and hope you didn't think it was too long!

Review Under £5: Schwarzkopf got2b Heat Protection Spray

Hi, another review under £5! Today is it a heat protection spray. Usually I am not fussed about heat protection. I always use it but I am very rarely impressed by one as I think a lot of them do the same job. I used to LOVE a Toni&Guy straightening spray. It smelt amazing and kept my hair smooth and straight all day but sadly they discontinued it.

What I love about this Schwarzkopf spray is that it actually smells like a perfume! The scent does actually linger in the hair too. I also love that the mist covers large areas of hair. I hate having a heat protection spray that sprays in clumps, so you feel like all of your hair isn't protected and leaves you hair feeing wet. I am blown away by this and would re purchase.

This spray retails at Boots for £4.07

If you know of any heat protection sprays you would like to see reviews on or that you think I should try, please let me know.
